Laura R. Barnhart, OTR/L, CNT, CIIT
Laura is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Neonatal Therapist with 20 years of pediatric experience in home health, out-patient, and NICU settings.She has had extensive training in multiple theory applications such as Sensory Integration, Neurodevelopmental, and Cognitive-Behavioral approaches.Laura has also been certified in infant/child massage since 2004, and then became a Certified International Instructor Trainer in infant massage in 2014. She has been a two-time recipient of the Meade-Johnson grant to certify NICU staff.As an Occupational Therapist, Laura's passion is to promote the overall health and development of the family unit.

No. This is an introductory level course.
This is a Distance Learning - Interactive course. You will receive a zoom link via email approximately one week prior to the course date. This course uses discussion, PowerPoint, video, and demonstration/return-demonstration teaching methods.
You must have a computer with video capabilities. Also, you must attend both 2 days in their entirety, meet all learning objectives, including a take-home test with 80% accuracy.
Day One: 8:30am - 4:00pm EST. Lunch is on your own from
12 pm - 1:00 pm
Day Two: 8:30am - 3:00pm EST. It is a working lunch.
Please bring your lunch.
Cancellation Policy - Provider: The CE administrator/trainer shall make every attempt to contact registered learners via email and/or phone to notify of course cancellation. If the course is canceled due to the trainer, the following will be offered to the learner: full refund to learner OR apply registration fee to future course.
Cancellation Policy - Learner: For a full refund of course registration fees, the learner shall provide written request to cancel registration no less than 30 days prior to course date. For cancellations less than 30 days in advance, a 50% refund will be provided OR the learner can choose to utilize funds toward a future course date.
